This information helps us match you with appropriate stock models for virtual try-on features and tailor outfit recommendations to your preferences.

Our Service allows you to upload photos for virtual try-on features and wardrobe management. These may include:

• Personal photos for virtual try-on experiences (optional)
• Photos of clothing items for your digital wardrobe
• Images processed through our AI recognition features

You have full control over which photos you upload, and you may delete them at any time.

2.4 Style Preferences and Usage Data

We collect information about your fashion preferences and how you interact with our Service, including style preferences, favorite brands, size information, swipe history, outfit saves, wardrobe item categorizations, and feature usage patterns.

2.5 Location Information

With your permission, we collect general location information to provide weather-based outfit recommendations. We do not track precise GPS location or location history. You can disable location access through your device settings at any time.

2.6 Device and Technical Information

We automatically collect certain technical information including device type and operating system, app version, crash logs and performance data, and anonymous usage analytics.

We use your information to:

• Provide and personalize the Viastyl Service
• Generate AI-powered outfit recommendations based on your wardrobe and preferences
• Process virtual try-on requests using your photos and selected clothing
• Improve our recommendation algorithms and AI models

4. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party services to provide our features. These services may process your data according to their own privacy policies:

4.1 AI and Machine Learning

OpenAI: We use OpenAI's Vision API for clothing recognition, style analysis, and generating fashion recommendations. Images and text you provide may be processed by OpenAI's systems. Please review OpenAI's privacy policy for more information.

4.2 Virtual Try-On Processing

FitRoom: We use FitRoom's API to generate virtual try-on images. When you use the virtual try-on feature, your photos and selected clothing items are processed by FitRoom's servers to create realistic visualization of how clothing would look on you.

4.3 Image Storage and Delivery

Cloudinary: We use Cloudinary for secure image storage, optimization, and delivery. Your uploaded photos are stored on Cloudinary's secure cloud infrastructure.

4.4 Database Services

MongoDB Atlas: Your account data and preferences are stored securely on MongoDB Atlas cloud database infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit.

4.5 Product Information and Affiliate Services

We integrate with shopping and affiliate services to provide product recommendations, including Google Shopping API for product search and affiliate networks (such as Sovrn, Commission Junction, and ShareASale) for linking to retail products. When you click on product links, you may be directed to third-party retailer websites. We may earn commissions from qualifying purchases, which helps support our free service.

4.6 Weather Services

We use weather API services to provide weather-based outfit recommendations. Only general location information (city-level) is shared with these services.

5. Data Security

While we strive to protect your information, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. When you delete your account:

• Your photos and images are deleted immediately or within 7 days
• Your account data is retained for 30 days (to allow for account recovery if deletion was accidental), then permanently deleted
• Anonymized analytics data may be retained for up to 2 years for service improvement purposes

You can request immediate deletion of all your data by contacting us at privacy@viastyl.com.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information:

7.1 All Users

All users can: access and view their personal data within the app; update or correct their information; delete their account and associated data; opt out of marketing communications; control location permissions through device settings; and delete individual photos or wardrobe items at any time.

7.2 Canadian Users (PIPEDA)

Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), you have the right to access your personal information, request correction of inaccurate information, withdraw consent for data processing, and file a complaint with the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

7.3 European Users (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to access, rectification, erasure ("right to be forgotten"), restrict processing, data portability, and object to processing.

7.4 California Users (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect, delete your personal information, opt-out of the sale of personal information (note: we do not sell personal information), and non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights.
